The Earth is the Lord's

The Earth is the Lord’s

And everything in it

Flora and Fauna

All creatures, great or small

The Lord breathed and spoke

Creation into being

And Adam helped

Name the creation

Such beauty to behold

Butterflies flitting from flower to flower

Colors vivid and bright

Delicate and soft

Rugged mountains

Rushing rivers

Bears lumbering to fish

Owls communicating

Then, there are humans

Made in the image of God

His purpose is to steward creation

In so doing, worship his Creator

When sin came

Humanity lost its way

Yet, God continues to woo

Humanity back into its position

Standing now in my position

I breathe God’s glory over the earth

Declaring that His love and justice

To flow freely, bringing earth into alignment and balance
